It is mutually beneficial for the applicant and school that students meet a set of minimal requirements to ensure a proper learning environment and give the new student a good chance of success at NBCA. School administrators will evaluate an applicant based on the following requirements:
Preschool and Kindergarten
PreK 3/4 applicant is three by August 31st.
PreK 4/5 applicant is four by August 31st.
Kindergarten applicant is five by August 31st.
All PreK 3/4 & PreK 4/5 applicants must be potty-trained. Please see the policy here: Potty-Trained Policy
A parent of applicant is Christian and actively involved in a local church.
Applicant has a satisfactory conduct record.
Applicant provides a recommendation from current pastor.
PreK 4/5 & Kindergarten applications complete a Gesell Development Assessment.
Parents and student(s) interview with the principal.
Grades 1 through 5
A parent of applicant is Christian and actively involved in a local church.
Applicant provides a report card and achievement test results for the previous school year.
Applicant has a satisfactory conduct record.
Applicant provides recommendations from current principal, teacher, and pastor.
Applicant completes an assessment test.
Parents and student(s) interview with the principal.
Grades 6 through 8
A parent of applicant is Christian and actively involved in a local church.
Applicant provides a report card and achievement test results for the previous two years.
Applicant has a satisfactory conduct record.
Applicant provides satisfactory recommendations from current pastor and teachers.
Applicant completes school assessment test.
Parents and student(s) interview with the principal.
Grades 9 through 12
A parent of applicant is Christian and actively involved in a local church.
Applicant provides a report card and achievement test results for the previous two years.
Applicant has a satisfactory conduct record.
Applicant provides recommendations from current pastor and teachers.
Applicant completes school assessment test.
Applicant desires to attend New Braunfels Christian Academy and is willing to comply with school standards as printed in the handbook.
Parents and student(s) interview with the principal.
