Dona Bruns Scholarship
The Captain James Jack Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution is offering one $500.00 scholarship for a New Braunfels Christian Academy senior. For an application, please see Mrs. Shumway.
NB Civil War Round Table
$750.00 scholarship will be awarded to a senior from Comal County. An essay is required. See Mrs. Shumway for more information.
The Greater New Braunfels Art Council
The council sponsors an annual poetry contest with 4 divisions for 5th graders to adults. Submit a poem on any subject at least 8 lines long, limit 2 poems. Cash prizes and medallions will be awarded to the winners. See your English teacher or Mrs. Shumway for more details.
Aggie Moms Club
The Comal County A&M Mothers' Club will be offering freshmen scholarships to those who have been accepted at Texas A&M College Station or Galveston. See Mrs. Shumway for more information.
Comal County A&M Club Scholarship
5 scholarships will be awarded to Comal County High School graduating seniors who have been accepted to Texas A&M College Station or Galveston. See Mrs. Shumway for details and an application.
Jahnsen Family Foundation Scholarship
$1,000 one time scholarship with applications will be awarded to a high school graduating senior residing in Comal County seeking a college degree in Visual or Performing Arts with a minimum GPA of 2.5. See Mrs. Shumway for more information and essay topic.
New Braunfels Art League Scholarship
A scholarship is given to one high school graduate who plans to study art in college. More information may be obtained in the spring.

Comal County Child Welfare Board
The Child Abuse Awareness PSA Contest is open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Students must create a public service announcement concerning child abuse awareness. First place - $1200.00; second place - $700.00; third place - $500.00. See Mrs. Shumway for more information.
Big Sun Scholarship
The Big Sun Organization is proud to be able to continue to help young athletes succeed in their academic pursuits. We are offering an annual scholarship to a deserving student. All student athletes are eligible for this award, regardless of which sport they are participating in. The amount of the award is $500.00.
The successful applicant will be a high school senior or be attending a post secondary institute and currently involved in some sport at that institution or in the community.

NB Republican Women Scholarship
Available to one female graduating senior in the top 10% of their graduating class in the amount of $750.00. See Mrs. Shumway for essay topics.
New Braunfels Music Study Club Scholarship
The NB Music Study Club offers two $1200.00 scholarships to high school seniors who plan to major in vocal or instrumental music their freshman year of college. For applications and more information, contact Mrs. Shumway, 830-629-1821.
Comal County Veterinary Assoc. Scholarship
Open to any graduating senior in the top 25% of graduating class pursuing a science based major with the intention of applying to college of veterinary medicine. $1,000 scholarship awarded.
GVTC Foundation Scholarship
GVTC will award a $10,000 scholarship to one student in the GVTC service area who subscribes to at least one service. Please see Mrs. Shumway for more info and an application.
GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program
Annually awards 20 college bound students who demonstrates leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship with $10,000 renewable scholarships. For more information, visit www.reaganfoundation.org/scholarships
NB Women's Chamber of Commerce
Female graduating from local high school, pursuing a Bachelor's degree, and a minimum 3.0 GPA. See Mrs. Shumway for an application.
Walter & Myrtle Schlather Memorial Scholarship
Graduating senior who is the son or daughter or grandson or granddaughter of a US Military Veteran. Applications in Mrs. Shumway's office.
