About the Head of School
Jill White became the Head of School at New Braunfels Christian Academy in April 2016.
Jill’s career in Christian education spans 35 years and a variety of positions. Prior to joining NBCA, she served as headmaster, principal, curriculum director, and educational therapist. Her teaching levels vary from elementary, secondary, and adult education. As the owner of Jill White Instructional Training, she has worked with schools across the nation as administrative consultant and faculty coach. She is the author of numerous articles as well as several books in the series, Little Books About Big Ideas for Teachers. Jill received a bachelor’s degree in education and music and a master’s degree from Regent University in educational leadership and curriculum development.
More important than her work, Jill has a passion for growing deeper in Christ, taking care of family, and enjoying the blessing of life in New Braunfels. She has been blessed that her parents currently live with her and that she can minister to them. As a single lady of God with no children, she also enjoys being the dog mama of one cute, little white dog named Rosey. She is an avid reader, a decent gardener, and a lover of history – especially seeing God’s providence in our American story. She has found great community and an extended Christian family at NBCA, and feels blessed to be part of God’s work in providing exceptional Christian education to His glory. Fulfilling the school’s mission to partner with parents in educating, encouraging, and equipping students in faith, excellence, and service makes the work at NBCA exciting and fulfilling as students grow to serve God and impact the world through biblical thought and action.
